Last bus ride

Today was Bray’s last day of school, and his last bus ride home from Kinderworks. Here are some photos of him giving a present to his bus driver.

Leah’s Party, Soccer, Gavin pitching

Today was Leah’s birthday party, Logan had soccer, and Gavin did a great job pitching at baseball.

Brayden’s Kinderworks Graduation

Today Kinderworks held a graduation ceremony for the Kindergarten class. School doesn’t end for another week, but they held the ceremony today so that all the teachers could attend.

More flooring

With Fred’s great advice, I tackled the rest of the flooring this afternoon with the boys. We still need to get molding and some 1/4round, but I think we did a pretty good job.

The boys were oddly into helping with the flooring work. If only they were so into cleaning up after themselves…they’re little pigs!

Ella’s Party

Melissa took Melayna to Ella’s Princess Party today. How exactly a tiny little girl comes home stinky from a princess party, I’ll never understand…maybe it’s normal for princesses to stink?

New flooring…finally

Fred, Jodi and the kids were over tonight. Fred halped me figure out the best way to put the new floor down in the ‘green’ room.

Gavin’s Game

Gavin was the only one of the boys to play baseball today. Logan and Brayden’s morning games were cancelled because it rained so much yesterday and overnight. By the afternoon, the fields were dried out enough to play.

While Gavin played (a great long hit for 2 RBIs and an awesome center to 2nd fielding play) Brayden ran around in the creek and Melayna played on the slides nearby.

Rumpus in the Rainforest

Gavin’s class performed the ‘Rumpus in the Rainforest’ musical this evening. Luckily for us, Gavin was a Jaguar, just like Logan was. (costume re-use win)

Brayden’s Birthday Party

This afternoon was Brayden’s 6th Birthday Party at Cornerstone. (where else?)

The kids had a great time…I have a feeling that all the parents were suffering from “Haven’t I been here for this same party 20 times now?” syndrome.

Cornerstone does a great job with the kids’ parties, and they always have a blast.

Day Late Cake

Yesterday was Brayden’s 6th birthday. It must be confusing for him though, presents and cards start arriving a few days before his actual birthday, we have ice-cream cake a day after telling him Happy Birthday all day, then his party isn’t until June 2nd.
