Happy Halloween

Posted on October 31, 2003 at 10:14 am in

A lot was going on today. Gavin and Jess hung out, Brayden was a pumpkin, and Logan & Gavin were Power Rangers. Melissa told Logan that they could only keep ten pieces of candy at the end of the night, and that the rest had to be left out for the Candy Witch. Amazingly enough, he bought into the whole idea, and we hid the rest of the candy from the boys.

Tim finished tufting the ottoman thing too. The pictures are at the end of the parade and cookout stuff.

Costume parade

The kids had a costume parade through the neighborhood today. After the parade there was a big cookout down by the model home. Gavin didn’t walk in the parade because he refused, kicking and screaming, to wear a costume.

Not great, but ok.

Here is Tim’s first attempt at upholstery. We covered our old coffee table that the boys had ruined. It still needs buttons on the top, but it actually turned out ok for what they are calling a “cocktail ottoman”.

Gavin’s hat

Gavin has decided that he really likes hats. Here he is wearing his favorite after a long long nap. We heard him crying when he woke up, when Tim went in to get him he was wearing the hat and sobbing.
