Here’s my first attempt at making a photo mosaic using The Gimp. You should probably right click the link and save it to disk rather than try to open it for viewing in your browser. It’s about 20 megs. I got the idea after seeing some photo mosaics on various other websites.

Eagles, Swings, Family
Jaclyn came over to watch the Eagles game this afternoon with Nana and Pop-pop Skoletsky. The boys played out back with Nana until Gavin was ready to pass out. We also went to None Such Farms and picked up some mini hay bales, pumpkins and squash to put around the scarecrow on the front steps.
Lawnmowing Mania!!!
Gavin and Brayden helped Tim mow the lawn this afternoon.
Backyard
Some photos taken around lunchtime today of the boys playing next door.
A day at the park
Melissa took the boys to the park to play with Becky and Tina’s kids.
Gavin’s 1st Dentist Appointment
Today Melissa took Gavin and Logan to the dentist. It was Gavin’s 1st time in The Chair Of Pain, and he was excellent!
Logan was so brave, he went in by himself. Melissa didn’t get any photos of him.
More photos from today.
Well, I got the weeds sprayed and the flowers pulled. I even got the cables terminated and tested. Now I just have to run the neatly through the basement and into the bedroom wall instead of leaving them hanging all over the floors.
Melissa took Logan and Gavin out for a bike ride early this evening while I was on a run to the hardware store for more stuff.
The plan
Today’s plan? We’re going to take the boys to the Doylestown Arts Festival just before lunch, then it’s back to the house to kill weeds, pull old flowers, rake the beds, drill holes in the attic, cut drywall in the basement and finish running the 2nd cable to the Tivo upstairs…

I posted a couple sets of photos from the 15th and 16th today. They’re down below the bomb stories or follow these links to them.
Another Bomb Story
This story is from Channel 6 Action News. They interviewed Melissa, but didn’t use her tape on the 6 o’clock broadcast.
Here’s the text in case they delete it later….
Buckingham Bomb-Makers at Large
September 17, 2004 — Police in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, are still searching for the individual or individuals responsible for two bombs placed in a housing development.
video VIDEO: Walter Perez reports
And if you say it is an unlikely place for this kind of problem, you’d be right. Many people who live in the Buckingham Forest Development say they didn’t even hear about the first incident until this past Wednesday when their morning commute began with the sight of federal agents combing the landscaped area surrounding the development’s Swamp Road entrance.
Actually they were looking for the remains of a homemade bomb rigged from a hand-held propane gas tank. The other make-shift explosive was detonated there a few days earlier on Sunday morning.
That bomb was made with heavy-duty plastic and cardboard which scattered shards across this area, near Michael Melendez’s backyard.
Local authorities were handling the case until the second bomb went off three days later, that’s when the FBI and ATF were called in. Remnants from both explosives have since been sent to an ATF lab in Maryland.
Local investigators say the devices seemed relatively sophisticated, but it’s still unknown if they were detonated with a fuse or a timer.
