I took Logan over to his elementary school for an open house.  We met his teacher and checked out his room and the rest of the school.  Logan became extremely shy when I asked him to pose for a photo with Mrs Lovell, and pretty much stayed clammed up.

Today we had a visit from Dottie to check Melayna’s bilirubin count. Melayna is the only one of our four to come home without a Wallaby Blanket to take care of jaundice. Melayna is compeltely fine!
Dottie actually visited us with both Logan and Gavin as well. Brayden’s home visit was from a different nuse, named Diane.

We brought Melayna home today.  There are only a few pictures.

Ok. I finally gave in last night when I asked Logan and Gavin, “What name should the baby get?” They both said, “What Mommy wants to name her.” When I asked, “What name is that?” they both said, “Melayna”.
Searching for a middle name that started with S and actually seemed to flow or fit was hard, so I picked Simone. At least it’s kind of girly sounding.

Here are photos of today’s visits with her and the new landscaping (mostly cleaning up the front beds). Logan was THRILLED to give her a bottle. I’ve never seen him smile so big for so many photos.

…but I’m not saying what it is until we nail down the middle name.

Here are photos from today.  We had visits from Pop-pop Oettel, Aunt Joann, Uncle Rick, Nana & Pop-pop Skoletsky. Tisha, Teresa, Kelly, and seemingly endless phone calls from all over the place.

Logan offered to have half his room painted pink so that the new baby could stay with him.  Convincing him to let anyone else hold her is pretty tough. (You can see his sad “when do i get her back?” face in the background of one photo of Pop-pop.)

August 23rd. The official celebration of Jim Herr’s birthday.  We celebrated by taking photos of Melissa’s ever swelling belly.
