Melayna, Gavin and Brayden had a playdate this morning, and then Melissa went to “Bridge Valley Day” at Logan’s school for lunch.

Melissa had battery problems with the camera at Logan’s soccer game, but managed to take a few photos.

The infield was so muddy today that Gavin’s game was held entirely in the outfield.

We had the beds and some grass redone in the backyard today. It’s looking much better than before.

This evening we had a great cookout followed by the guys passing out watching SNL.

This was taken a few minutes before Logan beat me at chess. Helpful hint: Don’t chat with friends while playing chess against a 7 year old.

The boys’ baseball season started officially today.

We’re exhausted.

Brayden spends a lot of time and energy coloring. He’s getting really good at it.

Tonight was Dad’s Night at Kinderworks. Gavin and Brayden took me to see all the things they’d learned so far this year. We had a lot of fun, even though poor Bray ran out of steam about halfway through the night.
