It’s time to clean the basement!! How many parts of broken toys do we have cluttering up the place? Melissa and the boys filled a huge garbage bag full of junk. Melayna was just happy to sit in toy drawers and to chew on random pieces of plastic.

Brayden played his big brother role this evening and helped Melayna have a bath.

Today Logan’s team had their football game all the way down in Mt Airy. They did fantastically well, and had to stop scoring touchdowns and ease up after their 4th in a row.

We took a day trip to Point Pleasant, NJ this afternoon. It was a lot of fun, Logan and Gavin each won new webkinz…..which of course, means that Bray was insanely upset because he didn’t win one.

We didn’t go on the beach, but we did have a LOT of fun at the aquarium and on the boardwalk. (they had penguins and sharks!!!!)

Melissa finally decided it was time to start strapping shoes on Melayna’s feet. She hated wearing them in the store, but seems to like them as long as they aren’t tied.

Melayna discovered the stairs a while ago, but now, she’s a nightmare with them. Anytime we turn our backs, she’s headed up the stairs, shrieking with glee.

Who knew you could go to the beach in September? Melissa and her Mom did. They took the kids and Landon to the beach in Long Branch today and had a great time while some of us were pounding our heads against desktops in a grey cubicle…
