Today Pop-pop, Aunt Joann, Uncle Rick, Jenny, Chad, Emma and Maeve came over for a Day After Christmas turkey dinner. We exchanged a few gifts, Tim fell asleep on the sofa holding Melayna, and we all had a nice time.

Oh, the turkey was an emergency 19 pounder purchased this morning because Tim refused to believe that the 23 pounderin the garage fridge wouldn’t be thawed in time. (It had been thawing since Saturday….Guess what we’re roasting tomorrow…)

At the end of the evening, poor Brayden just couldn’t hold out anymore and crawled under an end table, curled up, and passed out. It was a fun Christmas Day.

Since Melissa hurt her back, Steven, Mares, Jaclyn, Landon and Nana & Pop-pop Skoletsky came to our house this evening instead of us going to Steven’s like we usually do. Nancy, Jon and Matias arrived at almost the same time. We had a big family meal that Mares brought, opened presents and stayed up way too late preparing for Christmas Day.
