Happy Halloween!

Tonight was Brayden’s Fall Festival at school. Melayna tagged along and we all had a great time.

Today we got about an inch of big fluffy snowflakes that turned into ice and slush on the roads. There were a lot of accidents on the local roads around Buckingham and Doylestown. I guess people can’t remember to slow down and take it slow from one year to the next.

This evening was Brayden’s last flag football game of the season.

Melissa and Jodi went to the Eagles game this afternoon. Jodi’s husband Fred hooked them up with somebody at the stadium and got them onto the field during the pre-game. At and after the game, they got to hang out with Tania, Damien, Patrick, Nicole, Matt and Stacy in the parking lot where Melissa thought she might be able to pick up a Phillies’ World Series ticket on the cheap….no such luck.

First up is the “Elvis Fan” shirt that Melissa made for our neighbor Mary Kay. Those pics are followed by Logan and Melayna at Logan’s class Reading Picnic. Finally, there are some shots of the cupcake-cake and attempt at Gatorade-ing coach Stan during Gavin’s football practice tonight.

I don’t care much for politics, or for professional politicians on either side of the aisle….so don’t get all cranked up and offended by this video, I just like it for what it is. If the “other side” produces something as cool/nostalgic/whatever, I’ll post that too.

Here are Ron Howard, Andy Griffith and Henry Winkler dredging up their old characters to talk about the election. It’s pretty cool to see them do it.

Mom & Dad have their own website now. It’s just starting with a blog and gallery, but it’s already way cool.

Logan’s frog ate 5 out of 6 baby crickets this afternoon. It was like watching lightning strike. The last cricket is quivering in the dry corner of the tank, waiting his turn…

Melayna didn’t nap at all today, but remained in a really nice mood. Whe I told her it was bedtime, she said “Okay! Blankie!” and that was that. I just hope she’s this good when she turns 12.

We took the kids and Logan’s buddy Cole to Steven and Mares house this afternoon to celebrate Landon’s 15th birthday.
