Yesterday was Brayden’s 6th birthday. It must be confusing for him though, presents and cards start arriving a few days before his actual birthday, we have ice-cream cake a day after telling him Happy Birthday all day, then his party isn’t until June 2nd.

Melissa and Melayna went to Brayden’s Teddy Bear Picnic at Kinderworks today.
Here are pics from our neighborhood BBQ, and a few videos we managed to take.
BTW. Notice the busted off fence posts. That’s the result of our stupid decision to go with Fences Unlimited (now located in Montgomeryville) 5 or 6 years ago to install our PVC fencing. It’s crap. One tiny kick/ball/hit/wind-gust and the slats fall off. You can easily slap them back on, but good luck getting them to STAY on. You’ll need extra special good luck getting the Fences Unlimited guys to do a damned thing about it….slackers. Calling them gets you referred to the company that makes the fencing which gets you …. that’s right … nothing. What a surprise. Don’t buy anything from them. They have no interest in installing or maintaining good fences as far as we can tell.
In the end, what we have isn’t so much a fence as it is an art project that can easily be knocked over by a 2 year old.
Here are the videos we took at Dutch Wonderland. They start with “The Adventures of the Frog Prince” diving show, then quick videos at the water park, and finish with another diving show about a Dragon or something. Yes, they were filmed exclusively in Pettigrew ShakyCam.
We started ripping the carpet out of the ‘green room’ in preparation for the new faux hardwood flooring.
Also, Logan had his 3rd grade choral concert this evening. Melissa took him while I stayed home wheezing out the end of my sinus infection. Most of the pics seem to show that the Bridge Valley 3rd Graders can shoot lasers from their eyes. We’re scared.

Here are a few shots of Gavin running the bases at the Baseball Skills Day. Gavin ended up with the best overall scores in base running, the home run derby and the obstacle course for his team, but didn’t win the overall competition.
Shortly after I took these photos, Melayna had multiple major meltdowns, and I had to take her (and Brayden) home, leaving Gavin and Logan with Melissa. Sadly, I forgot to give her the camera for more pix.
I’m slowly moving the nextgen gallery posts back to the old gallery format. In the end, it seemed like a cool gallery, but I don’t like it as much as the old one.
