Today was the last day of summer vacation for the kids. Melissa, Kathy and Missy took all the kids to the shore today. It only hit the low 70s here, but I guess the water is pretty warm, and they still had a blast.

Cake for Melayna
Since we celebrated Melayna’s 3rd birthday by going to a baseball game a few weeks ago, we thought we’d wait for a few days after her real birthday to have cake and ice cream with the kids in the neighborhood.
As if that makes any sense…
Do you notice anything odd about her cake?
Classroom visits
The boys visited their new classrooms for the upcoming school year today.
I don’t remember getting to visit my classrooms before school started…seems weird to me that we do that here.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELAYNA!
Today is Melayna’s 3rd birthday.
Melissa took the kids to the Great Adventure Safari and to the shore for a day of fun.
Once everyone was back home we opened presents for Melayna’s birthday.
Good-bye dinner
A bunch of couples from the neighborhood took Tony and Tricia out tonight to say good-bye before they move to Annapolis. We had a lot of fun. I’m not sure that you CAN’T not have fun with Tony and Tricia around.
Check out Matt helping Tony into hi Eagles boxer shorts that the girls bought him. (He’s a life long Steelers fan, as he should be since he grew up there.)
Cookout at the Armour’s
Kenny and Tisha had a cookout/pool party to say goodbye to the Scarpinos.
I slept through most of it with the exception of these photos.
Eagles Pre Season!!!
Melissa took the Gavin, Logan, Alexandra and Logan’s buddy Teddy to the Eagles pre-season game this evening. They got there a little late, there was some rain, but they still had a great time.
Klecko threw his gloves to Logan! Logan gave one of them to his buddy Teddy.
Failed shore trip
Melissa and her mom took the kids (and Alexandra) to the shore today, but encountered storms etc. In the end, they were forced to go shopping at the Jackson, NJ outlets. At least I got a new pair of sneaks out of it.
Phillies Game!
We took the kids to the ball park tonight to see the Phillies play the Marlins.
It was the 1st time ever that all Melissa’s Mom and Dad’s 13 grandkids were together.
We took a bunch of pictures, including a couple pix of the Phillies wishing Bruce and Melayna their Happy Birthdays.
