While Melissa was attending 1st and 2nd grade parent/teacher conferences, I had the kids at Brayden’s flag football game, and Gavin’s practice.

I realized that I’d forgotten to upload a bunch of vacation videos from this summer, so here they are. I think I have to rearrange the order though, it’s all messed up. (if that matters)

I finished building the portable basketball hoop that I was supposed to have ready for when Gavin got home from school yesterday. A bolt snapped in two when I was first working on it, and I didn’t get it finished yesterday. (With construction guys Melissa had recruited when their day of prepping the street for paving was done.)

Anyway, it’s together, it works, and I only cut my hand in two places and smashed my shin in three while finishing it this morning.

Today is Gavin’s 8th birthday. We had a party at the house, with a moon bounce, relay races, hulu hoop contests, pizza, cake and a special visit from the ice cream man for all the kids at the party.

Today was Melayna’s first day of school. She’s in the Munchkins class at Kinderworks this year. Melissa said that she was really excited and loved it.

Today was the 1st day of school for the boys. It’s the first time they’ve all been together on the bus.
